# 아이린, 조이, 슬기가 말하는 ‘웬디’
시원시원한 보컬이 아주 좋다. 처음으로 SM 연습생으로 들어왔을 때 너무 노래를 잘해 깜짝 놀랐다. 이런 보컬 스타일이 그 동안 없었다. 팝도 너무 잘한다. 그래서 노래를 듣다가 좋은 곡을 발견하면 꼭 웬디에게 불러달라고 부탁한다. 캐나다에 있을 때 공부도 잘했다.

She has great refreshing vocals. When she first came to SM as a trainee, we were really shocked because she's so good at singing. There was no such vocal style before. She's also really good at pop songs. That is why while listening to songs, when we discover a good one, we will request Wendy to sing it for us. She was also good in academics when she was in Canada.

 # 웬디, 조이, 슬기가 말하는 ‘아이린’
너무 예쁘다. 처음 봤을 때 너무 예뻐서 가까이갈 수 조차 없었다. 입꼬리가 올라가는 특유의 미소가 너무 아름답다. 게다가 능력있는 리더다. 평소에는 장난도 잘치고 친근하지만 우리가 예의에 맞지 않는 행동을 하면 따끔하게 혼내고 지적해준다. 그럴 때마다 ‘아, 언니답다’라는 생각을 하게 된다. 게다가 고민을 털어놓으면 따뜻하게 감싸주고 품어준다. 소녀다운 이미지지만 매력이 많다.

So pretty. When we first saw her, it was difficult to approach because she's so pretty. Her unique smile where the tips of her lips raise up is so beautiful. She is a leader with abilities. Although she usually pranks us and is friendly, she scolds and points it out when we have inappropriate behaviours. Whenever that happens we think 'Ah, she's like an unnie'. Besides, when we pour out our troubles, she'll embrace all those warmly. Though she has a feminine image, she has a lot of charms.

# 웬디, 아이린, 슬기가 말하는 ‘조이’
음색이 너무 예쁘다. 마치 디즈니 애니메이션을 보는 기분이다. 조이가 회사 평가회에서 노래를 불렀을 때 너무 깜짝 놀랐다. 음색이 너무 맑은데 그 안에 한이 서려있었다. 한이 있어서 그런지 트로트도 잘 부른다. 어디에 내놔도 잘할 것 같다. 끼가 넘치기 때문이다. 조이가 레드벨벳에서는 막내지만 집에서는 맏언니다. 그래서 그런지 성숙한 면도 있고 심지어 언니들의 고민을 잘 들어주기도 한다. 그 와중에 애교까지 많다.

She has a beautiful vocal colour. Feels like we're watching a disney animation. We were shocked when Joy sang at the company evaluation. Her voice is really clear but there's grudge in it. Maybe it's because she has grudge in it, she sings trot well. She'll do well no matter where she goes. Because she has a lot of skills. Although Joy is the maknae in Red Velvet, she's the oldest in her family. That may be the reason why she is also mature. She even listens to the unnies' concerns well. Amongst all that, she has lots of aegyo.

 # 웬디, 아이린, 조이가 말하는 ‘슬기’
동양적인 아름다움이 있는 반면 서양적인 매력도 있다. 쌍커풀이 없는데 눈이 커서 진짜 묘하게 예쁘다. 슬기는 연습생 기간이 길어서 그런지 노래와 춤 모두를 잘한다. 예쁜 목소리를 가졌는데 그 안에 파워풀함까지 숨겨져 있어서 장르를 가리지 않고 모두 소화할 수 있다. 기본기가 탄탄탄해 새삼 반하게 된다. 감정기복이 없어 꾸준히 흔들리지 않고 노력하는 타입이라 실력에서 전혀 뒤처지지 않는다.

On one side she has eastern beauty, on the other, she has western charms. Though she doesn't have double eyelids, she has huge eyes, it's pretty. Maybe because Seulgi had a long trainee period, she's good at singing and dancing. Not only does she have a nice voice, it is also powerful. That is why she is able to digest different genres. Her fundamental technique is strong, it'll make you fall for her. Because she is the type to work hard steadily with no emotional ups and downs, you aren't able to find flaws in her skills
